北京喇叭溝原始森林公園坐落于北京市懷柔區(qū)喇叭溝門滿族鄉(xiāng)，地處北京市最北端，距城區(qū)約160公里，公園面積11171.5公頃，其中林地面積9492.75公頃，原始次生林7萬畝，森林覆蓋率居北京市之首。
北京喇叭溝原始森林公園的夏季也十分涼爽，平均氣溫只有22℃，晝夜溫差達15至18℃，無霜期短，成為了城里人休閑避暑之地。 景區(qū)有北京地區(qū)的暑期冰川，還會出現(xiàn)8、9月份都沒化完10月份又重新結(jié)冰的奇景。
北京喇叭溝原始森林公園是2008年2月批準建立的國家級森林公園，公園處于暖溫帶和寒溫帶交接處，保存著北京地區(qū)面積最大的蒙古櫟林、白樺林、山場林等天然林。區(qū)內(nèi)具開發(fā)價值的自然景觀120多處，是懷柔區(qū)三大生態(tài)景區(qū)之一。
